６月８日デトロイトに着き、入国審査はスムーズ、空港から信号機の少ない道をスムーズにノンストップで娘の家まで４キロメートル１０分、時差ぼけか眠れないので、家に着いて早速ビールとウイスキーを飲み寝たが３時間で目を覚まし、また飲んで寝たがすぐ起きるだめだあきらめて起きていた。
I arrived at Detroit on June 8. It didn't take too long to go through the immigration/custom. It only took 10 minutes (about 4 km) from the airport to my daughter's house. There were not many traffic lights between.
I couldn't sleep - I was suffering a jet lag. As soon as I got to my daughter's house, I drank a can of beer and some whiskey. But three hours later, I woke up. I drank more and slept a bit more but woke up soon again ... Eventually I gave up and decided to stay up.
